Question:
Will the shock that is delivered for correction, with the electronic systems,
hurt my Pet?
Answer:
No. The correction is unpleasant for the Pet but not harmful. It feels much like
the shock that you receive when you walk across a carpet and touch a door knob.
Each pet is different as to how they react to correction. They may be startled,
jump or yelp. These are common reactions.
Question:
Can the Collar for the PetSafe wire based system be used with the PetSafe Instant
Fence?
Answer:
No.
The Instant Fence system uses a deferent technology solution than the wire based
systems. These Technology solution are very deferent.
Question:
Can small and large pets including both cats and dogs share the same wire based
containment system?
Answer:
Yes. The transmitters used for the wire based PetSafe systems are identical. The
collar receivers must be selected for the size and temperament of the pet but
will work with the same transmitter. Contact the seller for specific recommendation
for the collar receivers.
Question:
Can the same collar receiver that is used for the wire based outdoor containment
system be used with the indoor containment system?
Answer:
Yes. The technology used for the indoor system is compatible with the outdoor
containment collar receivers. However the Instant Fence wireless system receiver
is not compatible.

6 weeks.
Question:
My Dog has a very thin face for a dog her size. Should I use a Medium or Large.
Answer:
You should use the size indicated by the dogs weight. The Gentle Leader is
completely adjustable for deferent face shapes within the weight range.

My dog weighs 55 lbs. What size Gentle Leader should I purchase?
Answer:
Dog sizes can vary within breeds. Use the weight scale below to determine
the appropriate size.

I have a boxer with a short nose. Will the Gentle Leader work for him.
Answer:
The
Gentle Leader has a new improved thinner nose loop specifically designed to accommodate
short faces like a Boxer as well as longer faces like a Dobermans. This feature
allows the Gentle leader to work for all face shapes.
Question:
What comes with the Gentle Leader?
Answer:
A free training DVD as well as printed instructions for fitting and and training.
Question:
Will
the Gentle Leader cause my dog any discomfort.
Answer:
The
head collar allows the dog to open its mouth and pant nornmaly. There is slight
pressure applied to the back of the neck when the dog attempts to pull. This simulates
what a mother dog would use on her pups to settle them down. None of this is harmful.
